Do you want to be involved and meet people in your community?
Are you new to Beat 811 in Garfield Ridge?
(Between Harlem and Central /51st to 59th st)


There are many ways to stay involved: 


Attend monthly meetings to keep informed.

Patrol the neighborhood on foot, in cars or on bikes looking for graffiti,
potholes, streetlights that are out, or overgrown brush
and report to your alderman's office or 3-1-1

Help the GRNW setup, break down, and participate in community events.

Be aware of suspicious activity, keep an eye out for troubled buildings
and call 9-1-1 when necessary. 

Help keep our neighborhood safe and clean.

We, the Garfield Ridge Neighborhood Watch, strive to keep Garfield Ridge a strong, safe community that residents can be proud of, but we can’t do it alone. We are always welcoming volunteers. Anyone who resides in Beat 811 can be considered part of the GRNW. 

Members of the Garfield Ridge Neighborhood Watch must be 21 years of age or older. 

If your middle school or high school aged child is interested in receiving service hours, please contact us via social media or email.
